When I connect the VPN neither one sees each other.. I run a test on the torrent client and it says that the port is not open. So it means that the VPN might be accessing it. It must also go through the firewall.

I must have been having a senior moment because I did no run netstat! There is something else wrong going on with this computer but I don;t know how to find out what.

I posted the Question hoping somebody knows another approach. Yesterday I was given one hint to download a little virtual port management utility called XPort, and that might help.
