Access report page setup problem

I am taking a college course at home. I'm being asked halfway into a project to page set up a table, print it in landscape, and save it. I am to submit the data base only, not the printed sheet. Then I'm being asked to do a few more things to the data base and submit the data base.

You will now find all the options for how to group and sort by project name as in the following screenshot. Here, we have a property called Without a Footer Section. Let us change that option by clicking on that little arrow next to the words Without a Footer Section. As you can see in the above screenshot that the ProjectName Footer section beneath the Details section is added. This will act as the footer for that project name group.

To remove shading or the appearance of background for alternating areas in both the Details section and in the Project Name area, go to the Design View again. Let us change the Details section first by clicking on the detail divider and then open Properties sheet.

You can now see how the report looks. To see how your data will print page by page, let us go to the Print Preview. Pavan Lalwani. Saatya Prasad. Gowthami Swarna. Akshay Magre. Thank you! Any more feedback? The more you tell us the more we can help. Can you help us improve? Resolved my issue.

Clear instructions. Easy to follow. No jargon. I have a report that should currently be seven pages long. Unfortunately since an Access Report can only be 22" x 22" this is impossible. I can only create a six different seperate page report. This is basically a form not an access form that is currently being put into an Access database.

The data entry form in Access has been set up to resemble this printed form not an access form almost identically through the use of tabs, one tabfor each page. I have attempted several options, both printing from a form and printing from a report.

Neither works perfectly. From the Access data entry form I am using the docmd. OutputTo command to print to a pdf file. Unfortunately, when doing this, I need to interate through each tab and issue the command to print to the pdf file.

This creates 7 different pdf files. This is not ideal. When sending this to the printer using the 'docmd. Again, not ideal. The other option was to use an access report. I sized the report to be 22" x22" and adjusted margins and layout to get six pages to print in this space. This is close but still leaves the seventh page out.

What are my options to get either the report or form to print all seven pages continuously to both a pdf and my printer? Access is obviously not set up to do this type of work I guess, but I guess I am using it anyways. You 'may'. You could use seven headers or footers if you like.

Or since two pages would fit in one header, three headers with two pages each, and one with one page. Or three headers with two pages each and the seventh in the detail area. As for your calcs, another option might be to put them in the query that both the form and report are based on.
